Se nota que se va acercando la Semana del Pintxo en Pamplona y los diferentes bares y restaurantes van calentando motores. El pasado fin de semana estuve en el bar Letyana que había escuchado que ya tenía en barra uno de los posibles pintxo a presentar al concurso. Es el siguiente:
Pintxo de bacalao sobre una cama de alcachofa acompañado de confitura de tomate y unos calabacines rebozados.
De todas formas, el que no me guste la alcachofa resultó clave para no probarlo, y por ello me quedo con el siguiente que sí probé:
Rulo de cabra envuelto en calabacín rebozado bajo un crujiente de caramelo acompañado de dulce de frambuesa.
Este último me gusto muchísimo y es fácil de llevar a la práctica en casa.

Pelotera! Jejeje… La boca se te hacía agua viéndomelo comer, ¿eh? Bien bueno que estaba.
Pues es posible que estén buenos, pero con el nivelón que hay en la Semana del Pintxo en los últimos años, los veo un poco flojos.
Los dos últimos años Letyana ha sido preseleccionado para la final, con platos un tanto mediocres y con una sonada polémica por plagio. Vamos, el un establecimiento con peso en la ciudad, a pesar de todo.
Yo he probado de momento sólo un pintxo de los participantes(no puedo decir dónde), llamado «Pensamientos de una vieira cabreada». Un plato simple pero bien reflexionado y ejecutado.
Habrá que ver…

El otro día por fin estuve en el Niza, probando el porky-porky, y para la próxima me llevo la cámara de fotos porque son unos pintxo cuidados al detalle y deliciosos a su vez.
Y a ver que nos depara este año la Semana del Pintxo, supongo que iré siguiendo los pasos que dejes, Garbancita, que los post de seguimiento de la Semana del año pasado fueron muy buenos, esperamos las recomendaciones.
Y eso, nos vemos en los bares!
